2021 Trust - Highlights

Thank you all Trust members and donors!

2021 was another challenging year for our community, and we hope that you have been and remain healthy.  In spite of the difficulties presented by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust benefited from the enormous goodwill and charity of its members and recorded its second highest level of donations in its history! Thank you to all those who gave so generously to support the Trust and the residents of the Town of Acworth. We appreciate your commitment to our ongoing work in the community.

$11,650 in 2021 grants awarded to five recipients

ACCT was pleased to support five deserving local organizations and Acworth residents in 2021. 


Since 2009, and as of the end of 2021, the Trust has funded over $131,000  in grants to local organizations and inviduals and to support Acworth students attending educational programs outside of school.


Thank you to all who support the Trust for making it possible to support our great community.

2022 Grant Applications are now available!   If you have any questions about which application may apply in your unique situation, please contact the Trust.  If you have any questions about what is required, or what you can do to increase your chances for a successful application, after reviewing the instructions, please contact any Trust Board member with your questions.  We encourage and look forward to receiving your application!

"primitive Acworth" Prints For sale!

Local artist's work made available to the public...

Due to the pandemic, the Trust was unable to host its annual fundraiser the past two summers in 2020 and 2021.  Fortunately,  local artist Laura Walker  generously allowed the Acworth Community Charitable Trust to make prints of her charming work, "Primitive Acworth," available to the public for purchase.  The color images are 9” x 18” with a 2” white border and are offered unframed.   Cost: $60 for each unsigned print.

About Us

Acworth local and independent

Run by volunteers, our mission is to support charitable projects that benefit the town of Acworth, NH, and its citizens

Our history

Founded in 2007, we have raised and distributed over $131,000 in our 15 years of service to the community.  2021 grant recipients include:

  1. The Acworth Community Project for new Village Store refrigeration cases;
  2. The Acworth Memorial Park Civil War / War of 1812 Plaque;
  3. Friends of the Acworth Meetinghouse for the Hill Church painting project;
  4. Fall Mountain Friendly Meals for general support;
  5. D. Carril for End-of-life doula training.


APPLYING FOR GRANTS

 Grant applications for 2022 are available now and may be downloaded from this Web site.   Maximum grant request is $4,000 for organizations and $1,500 for individuals

Join us

The Trust finances its grants through donations from our members and from the proceeds of an annual fundraiser on the second Saturday in July.


When possible, the Trust will host its annual fundraiser again, and we hope that you will join us to celebrate our artists, our gardens, and our communuity.


The mission of the Trust is to support charitable projects that benefit the town of Acworth, NH, and its citizens.  It is supported by donations from its over 120 members,  and new members are always welcomed.
