The ACCT is pleased to announce that it was able to make $11,000 in grant awards to six recipients.  See below for more details.

2020 Acworth community charitable Trust grant applications

2021 Grant Applications will be available in early 2021.  In the meantime, please feel free to review the 2020 applications as you plan for 2021.  If you have any questions about which application may apply in your unique situation, please contact the Trust.  If you have any questions about what is required, or what you can do to increase your chances for a successful application, after reviewing the instructions, please contact any Trust Board member with your questions.  We encourage and look forward to receiving your application!

About Us

Acworth local and independent

Run by volunteers, our mission is to support charitable projects that benefit the town of Acworth, NH, and its citizens

Our history

Founded in 2007, we have raised and distributed over $120,000 in our 13 years of service to the community.  2020 grant recipients include:

  1. The Acworth Community Project to upgrade refrigerated display cases at the Village Store in South Acworth;
  2. The Acworth Fire and Rescue Company for purchase of an automated external defibrillator;
  3. The Acworth Cemetery Trustees to complete restoration of the town hearse and to purchase specialty supplies for cleaning headstones;
  4. Friends of the Acworth Meetinghouse for the Hill Church painting project;
  5. N. Prodhoel to attend an American Heritage Tour to Washington, DC;
  6. L. Wheeler to attend the Kroka “Cedars to Sea” expedition.


APPLYING FOR GRANTS

 Grant applications for 2021 will be available in early 2021 and may be downloaded from this Web site.   2020 Applications are still available to help you plan. Maximum grant request is $3000 for organizations and $1500 for individuals

Join us

The Trust finances its grants through donations from our members and from the proceeds of an annual fundraiser on the second Saturday in July.

The July 11, 2020 biennial art exhibition event has been postponed.  When rescheduled, this event  will again feature the work of notable local and regional artists.  Look for more information  in the summer on this Web site and on the posters.  Please feel free to donate or join the Trust anytime--we welcome all.
